The origin
Traditional Thai Massage, or Thai Yoga Therapy, or Nuat Thai, is a therapeutic technique dating back two thousand years ago, its lineage tracing directly to Shivago Komarpahj, the personal physician and friend to the Lord Buddha himself, also known as the renowned healer, widely respected as a saint.

Sen lines
According to diagrams inscribed on the walls of Wat Po Temple in Bangkok, one of the most fundamental principle of Traditional Thai medicine is that energy flows through a human body along ten major channels, or Sen Lines. If a disturbance occurs within any of the lines, the pain or disease comes as a result, in which sense the traditional Thai medicine, as all other ancient healing systems, does believe that every illness is caused by imbalance or disturbance between an individual and his very environment.
